As Chief Strategy Officer of DDB North America, Eric Zuncic oversees a team of broad-brained thinkers and doers, responsible for setting the vision and ambition of our brands and the roles they play in culture. He leads an integrated team that’s comprised of business, product and social strategists as well as brand planners that believe creativity can transform business well beyond just advertising.
Prior to joining DDB, Zuncic was the Chief Strategy Officer at Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, where he oversaw award-winning work for Domino’s, Kraft, American Airlines, Hershey’s and Hotels.com. Zuncic’s diverse background includes client-side experience at GEICO and Unilever, a stint with global branding & design consultancy The Brand Union and time with independent creative agency Mekanism. His experience growing, building and inventing brands has spanned nearly every category, working with iconic partners such as Ben & Jerry’s, The North Face, Absolut, GlaxoSmithKline, Pepsi, Reckitt Benckiser, Jim Beam and the NFL. Additionally, he was part of the team that built the first-ever brand for the United States, Brand USA.
Zuncic is a graduate of the University of Richmond, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he studied Marketing, Innovation and Strategy. He serves on the Harvard Forum for Growth & Innovation, is an advisor to the Harvard iLab and The Advertising Research Foundation. He lives in New York with his wife and two children, Charlie and Ellen.
